Promo Sketch #4- Melissa as the Evil Queen

Melissa- Evil QueenHere’s a Sketch of my right hand Melissa as a happy lol…Evil Queen.

248032_10150197912260920_7789308_n

This is the fourth of my promotional superhero / villain comic sketches. Melissa as you all know by now is my number one lady. She as well as I grow up
as a Disney kid . We love all the princesses and seen all the movies. So when I asked her what she would like to be when I started to draw her of course she said a Disney character, only she decided to be a villain. Who’s better than Snow White’s Evil Queen.

Inspired by Ravenna from the movie “Snow White and the Huntsman”, I dressed her up as the evil queen with a bit of her true self in the mix. That’s why I added her favorite boots and gave her a rack to die for…lol

This will be soon framed and hung in her room as well. Interested in being transformed into your favorite hero or villain email me at love.teekayelle@gmail.com

Marvel Monday – Starfire Unleased !

DCUPRE_Cv18

This week in DC UNIVERSE PRESENTS, writer Joe Keatinge and artist Federico Dallocchio continue to spotlight everyone’s favorite Outlaws by putting Starfire center stage in her own solo adventure! This is so exciting, because Starfire has been one of my favorite characters since I started to read comics. I love her for her personality, because she wears her heart on her sleeve, she’s caring, honest and powerful. She very different from any character I have read about so far and sometimes she reminds me of myself…lol. I wish I could wear that crazy sexy outfit and have her flaming long red hair but that wouldn’t be as flattering on me lol.

In “Without Honor or Humanity,” Starfire travels to a far off planet to liberate a group of imprisoned villagers. But will they be willing to accept her help? Or will Koriand’r cause more problems than she could ever imagine?

Here’s a little from the creators of  the new story….“After working with illustrator Ricken on our Arsenal issue, I got the bug to do more with the Outlaws, so getting the immediate opportunity to work with illustrator Federico Dallocchio

on Starfire is very, very ideal,” Keatinge recently told THE SOURCE. “Even better, she’s a character I’ve liked for a long time now, especially in the classic Wolfman/Perez Titans era. Shining a solo spotlight to where she’s at now in DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 is something I’m very enthusiastic about.”- Cited from DC.com

I can’t wait to pick up this issue and some more in my box. I have a few to read, I been slacking on picking up my comics since I’m never in the city anymore. Good thing I have a full reading list so April will be packed with inspiration and imagination!

Here’s a few photos of Star fire for those who don’t know her.

Till Next Time

Promo Sketch #3- Sara as La Comandante Sarita

Sara- Nuyorican heroHere’s a Sketch of my friend Sara as my version of a nuyorican heroine, better known as La Comandante Sarita.

424953_4170447383955_1039989113_n

This is the third of my promotional superhero / villain comic sketchs. Sara is a proud puerto rican new yorker. She stands up for culture, educating the female masses and living life to the fullest. I personalized this sketch a bit more than the other comic sketches I did before because I know her.

I dressed her in a militant outfit to show strength and leadership. Her cape is the american and the Puerto Rican flag to express her nationality. On her hat is the Cuban shield to show her love for Cuba. She’s currently growing her hair out so I exaggerated her length and gave her a little bit more breast for fun.

This will be soon framed and hung in her room. Interested in being transformed into your favorite hero or villain email me at love.teekayelle@gmail.com

Promo Sketch #2- Nicole as Electra

Adriana Marie Co. Shoot

385221_406592202757932_935676678_nLast year I modeled Adriana Marie’s upcoming Spring/Summer collection. Her line is a variety of comfortable cute t-shirts, tank- tops and more. I was accompanied by my friend Jorge who produced the shoot, Darlenis Duran who was also a model and Rachel Wood who was our make- up artist. The shoot took place in a studio in Harlem. I fell in love with all of her t-shirts because they weren’t only made from super soft fabric but the inspiring optimistic messages printed on all of them is what sold me.  The designer Adriana herself was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with her again. Fashion week is coming up so don’t hesitate to check out her show and new line coming soon. You can find her collection at adriana-marie.com.

Here are a few of the photos from the shoot that I like the most.

Till Next Time, Love Tee <3

“Time’s Truth” Paintings

Falling Clocks

Falling Time Pieces – Date- 09/2012 – Medium- Acrylic – Dimensions- 24” x 36”

This piece is part of my “Time” series. This piece is showing vintage clocks falling from different time zones to show how time is always ticking and always there. I chose to use vintage clocks, for the beautiful detailing those clocks contain and to symbolize how time carries importance and history.

Lady Clocksworth

Lady Clocks Worth - Date- 09/2012 – Medium- Acrylic – Dimensions- 30” x 40”

This piece is part of my “Time” series. This piece was a play off of the character “Clocks Worth” from Disneyʼs Beauty and the Beast animation film. I wanted to have a little fun with my “time theme so I decided to create a father clock inspired piece just reinvented and replaced with a woman.

Beyond The Block Festival !

So the other day, like every other day I open my instagram to see what new images were posted om my news feed. I come across one from Viajero asking the mass that follows him if any one would like to join him to live paint at an event. I’m always down to live paint, so I replied and he soon sent me all the info I need to join him in this live painting event. I didn’t really know what I was painted for or why. All he gave me was the address and time. When I got there he showed me the wood board I would be painting on. It was pretty big and the first time I would be painting on wood. I’ve always wanted to paint on wood but haven’t until this event. Continue reading
