The year is almost over and for the most part it was a great year. 2012 was a ground breaking year for me. I accomplished a lot of things and showed myself a side I knew I always had. I stayed focused, driven, and positive. I didn’t take no, or I can’t as an answer. I worked my ass off this year and a lot of it has paid off. I finally got a passport, I finally got to travel outside the country, I finally moved into a place of my own and I finally found my true love. Continue reading →
December 6th, 2012 four latin woman came together for the event “Spectrum”. Spectrum was created and curated by Leomarlis Bojos. The idea of the event was to bring together a handful of different but equally talented ladies who all represented different forms of art. The artists that showcased their talent for the event along side myself was Jehdy Vargas, Camille Safiya and Leomarlis Bojos. Spectrum was held in one of New York’s most popular venues Veranda, located on 7th avenue and 10th street. The event was wonderfully sponsored by Crown Royal Black, who for Spectrum whipped up a menu of specialty drinks just for the show. The doors opened at 6 pm and by 7:30 pm, Veranda was packed. Good vibes were flowing all night with the magic of DJ Woof on the turn tables and the contagious excitement and support from the crowd. Continue reading →
This song has been in my head for the past 3 days. It’s the only song lifting my spirits up at the moment. This song I always loved but now I feel the message applies to me and it makes me feel optomistic and stay focused.
After near 3 years of being single, I am happily a taken woman. I’m the lady of an amazing gentleman that’s a life long baseball player and business man. Before him I never met someone so in love with a sport, him being baseball. The only sport I usually pay attention to is basketball, but I’ve always loved the game of baseball after being in the softball team my last 2 years of high school.
It was during high school were I went to my first baseball game at Yankee stadium. Since then I haven’t seen a live game or even step foot in a baseball stadium. My love and I have a “To Do List” with list a bunch of things we want to do with each other and in life period. One of them was to go to a baseball game, my love bought 2 tickets to see the Yankees play the Tigers during the play offs. Continue reading →

So the other day, like every other day I open my instagram to see what new images were posted om my news feed. I come across one from Viajero asking the mass that follows him if any one would like to join him to live paint at an event. I’m always down to live paint, so I replied and he soon sent me all the info I need to join him in this live painting event. I didn’t really know what I was painted for or why. All he gave me was the address and time. When I got there he showed me the wood board I would be painting on. It was pretty big and the first time I would be painting on wood. I’ve always wanted to paint on wood but haven’t until this event. Continue reading →
I’ve always wanted to visit the Atlantis, Bahamas resort. I was always fascinated by the mythological stories behind the great city that was lost under water centuries ago. So visiting the recreation of the city Atlantis, has always been on my to do list. This summer the lord has been very good to me. I have met some great people and have developed amazing relationships with some. One being Frank Antonio who hooked me up with a great (yet secret) gig located in the Bahamas! Words can’t describe how much I appreciate his kindness and generosity.
